Windsurfing

The fast tack is repeated and the jibe is learned and optimized. Shift and board techniques the combination with the turn and the jibe stand. Who can already try the beach start or other advanced techniques. In small groups and possibly motorboat accompaniment is practiced in the afternoon or early morning.

To make the progress as efficient as possible, we train where the wind best suits your skill level. We accompany you for this with the coach boat.

All practical basics from the basic course are repeated on the first day. On the 2nd day is continued with the fast tack and optimized cruising against wind and current and downwind courses driving. Depending on the progress of the jibe the subject of the course.

The lessons consist of water units, simulator training, material knowledge and theory units. First practical exercises with rig and board we do in flat water, so that everyone has already surfed something on the first day. In the following days we will learn in successive steps all the techniques that are necessary for independent windsurfing. At the end of the course you can easily pass the surf exam. The main focus of the courses is the practice on the water and the fun of windsurfing.

With smaller groups the time of the lessons can be shortened, because the learning progresses faster. The course time can still be fully used with free windsurfing.

Day 1: Starting/launching, surfing, 180 degree turn, sail position and body tension training, theory on wind, area and the course relevant practice.

Learning to steer to windward and leeward, repeating starting, surfing and 180 degree turn. Continuation of the theory of steering, the courses on wind, rig & board functions and the course relevant practice.

Day 2: the tack, tacking against the wind and current, theory about the physical forces in windsurfing, evasive rules, safety and the course relevant practice.

Day 4: Crossing against the wind and tacking again, driving courses to leeward, practicing dropping and changing direction with 180 degrees over the bow, theory exam (VDWS)
Kurs conclusion: surf trip, presentation of the windsurfing license & VDWS certificate, free surfing.
